I'm going to be putting up my 2006 320D M sport up for sale due to needing a car with an automatic transmission. I have issues with my left leg so using a clutch has become really bothersome.

So just thought i'll do a little research and see what the budget is like for a 330i.

It has to be an M Sport and of course with an automatic gearbox.
I haven't decided yet whether i want an E90 or E92 but definitely don't want an E93.

Anyone have any idea how much i'll be needing to spend on the car? Any information will be useful, thanks.

I have process rev3 and their meth kit and its been half a year easy of talk about chaning the map structure on the process but to no avail. Map 3 is pointless and stupid since it doesn't even work properly and now with e85 becoming used more often the map combinations need to change. Just an example of very realistic combinations
1. 93/91 only
2. 93/91 mixed with e85
3. 93/91 with meth
4. 93/91 mixed with e85 and meth.

So it isn't only about the firmware but not acknowledging the fact that the process needs more map options is annoying. I just don't understand, is the profit margin that much higher on the single turbo that no time is spent on us lowly twins anymore? And don't make me start thread hunting for the amount of times shiv said a big update was coming to the stock crowd which seems to be something said pretty often.

Is there a limitation to the hardware and the inability to expand the number of maps?

I'm picking up my e92 tomorrow (:happyanim:) which I quite frankly can't wait for. However, the old wheels - 07 Vectra CDTi 150 - is trying to throw a spanner in the works.

The EML came on a couple of weeks ago and it indicated p0110 error, IAT sensor problem. The MAF I thought. Bought a secondhand replacement off eBay and fitted it this week. No change...read upon it and found some info for checking the system, checked on the TIS as well for wiring diagrams. It looked like a connection issue. Checked the wiring, all ok. Starting to look like the ecu...:(

I'm now stuck with this problem and will also have an extra car to deal with, somewhat diluting the new car buzz I'm expecting form the e92.

I've since been advised that the problem could lie with the map (boost) sensor as that also provides temp info...now I changed this for a pattern part a couple of months ago so I'd love this to be the problem. I've ordered a secondhand genuine Bosch one from fleabay so fingers crossed ...:sigh:

Anyway, just thought I'd get that off my chest!

LMK any ideas you guys have!

Started off with a projected 34 hrs. and ~2100 miles... Now it's at 2,509 miles and 46 hours :D

Detours
1. Wallowa Mountain Loop
2. Bonneville Salt Flats
3. Arches Nat'l Park / Moab
4. San Juan Skyway
5. Jemez Springs - HWY-4

I had Yellowstone on there, have heard really good things about hwy 212(?) but took it off cause it added about 8 hours and I'd wanna stay much longer than I can.

Any good driving roads that y'all know of that are relatively close to the route, please let me know!

I am interested in a bit of modding and wondered if anyone had done any.
I know you can buy a carbon fibre 'Y' piece but I don't like the fact it looses the M badge. I have piano black in my car and was wondering how difficult it would be to have the 'Y' piece turned to piano black and the small key line above a silver or even colour coded to the car. Do they both come off easily?
