I emailed ESS asking them about the DirectFlash ECU (it could be up to 15hp with software and supporting mods) and also asked them about possibly making something to add some real HP. I did not specify a SC kit, I just said that I was looking for 350-400hp.
He responded by asking me if it would be worth their while to develop a SC kit for our cars! I couldn't believe it.
Based on his response, PLEASE contact ESS if you are interested! Let them know it'd be worth while for them to develop this kit.

We are contemplating making a SC kit for the N52 engine, something that brings it up to the 350-400hp range with a price in the $5K ballpark. Do you think there is enough market to support a product like this? The system will work on the E9x, Z4 and X3 platform.
