Can an alignment go out of wack again!?!?

Driving the car this evening was terrible, pulling all over the place etc i think its bs what these indys and main stealers are saying that there is nothing wrong with the steering pump. Was great these last few days apart from high speed play in the steering....

out of interest has anyone had a pump replaced and how much it would cost parts & labour??
