Yes they are forged; you can track them if you want and they won't fail on you or street use is just fine.
I don't know how much lighter or heavier it is compared to the OEM 189 and I don't have a set of those, nor do I know the weight of them. Go weigh the 189's and compare them to the Volks F-Zero..
