the crudely translated german spec sheet did it for me when it mentioned engine lowered and moved back in chassis to gain better handling balance, closer ratio gears with top gear not being a cruise ratio, bigger stronger wheel bearings and larger discs and pads all introduced to get these parts onto the 2006 WTCC car. Yes would like the 280BHP of Turkingtons or Jacksons si but then they only do 18 laps of 1.9 mile Donnington circuit between refills.
I think if it was a marketing exercise they would have charged more than the M sport 320i and produced more than 2600 overall and just 500 of which for UK market.
This is the first car I've driven for a long while where I actually feel I don't need to look at whats coming onto the market place.
But then I'm biased as I'm one of the 500 few
