Moving from CA to CO any advice

So after 3 years in SoCal I'm moving to Denver. I'm originally from the great state of the Corn huskers so I'm accustom to some snow. But the hills in CO may make it interesting what I'm looking for is any advice, good deal ships, great driving routs, and advice of snow setup stuff like that. In NE I just ran all-seasons will that do in Denver/Aurora area or do I need a pair of winter and maybe a set of chains? I'm running 09 335i xDrive.

Also any advice and how you think my wife's 09 Lexus is250 RWD would do in the winter. I never had a RWD car in the winter before all FWD or AWD so it is new to me.

If there isn't three pedals then you are not really driving.
