The point is that there's a million ways to get them to "come out" looking good. They need to STAY that way for years without yellowing or fogging because there is insufficient UV stabilization.

A few different grits of wet sanding and they'll look great - that's not the part I was concerned about.

Unfortunately, the true 2-part hardcoats I've found are higher quantities than I'd like. They can treat 40 pairs of lights, I only need <5 pairs. Perhaps I just need to run a little business on the side for a couple of months...
