To the chef dude above who bought the car in cash... The story seems funny because you can't buy cars in cash? Maybe they did it at that dealer but generally you can't do it. Yeah, I bought it straight cash (100 dollars bills) they just needed my latest tax return papers, 1 month of paycheck stubs, and they had to contact the IRS about the purchase, and they contacted my employer. Any down payment that is over 10,000 they have to contact the IRS. But after everything checked out I was on my way.
