Bearing in mind that the e90 is now an obsolete model, I would think it unlikely that Thatcham could remove/revise a rating in the light of new technology, it was Thatcham 1 when sold new, end of. It doesn't necessarily follow however, that insurance companys will continue to recognise that T1 rating when faced with the the evidence of car theft numbers
