Aviva short term insurance is good and reasonable for a couple of days, but the lower age limit is 25 I think.
As Yoro says, have a word with your own insurance company.
When I was grilling the sales person about Admiral Multi Car (that I now have), to get my daughter on to the wife's Seat Ibiza, (daughter's Clio is insured on the Multi Car too) it was prohibitive on an annual basis, but for a week or so, they wanted something like 30 extra - on an ad hoc basis. In my case, daughter would only be using wife's car if the Clio died, so it is a useful backstop.
