I have aluminum 74.1->72.6 hub rings.I donīt think there is so thin polycarbonate version. When i test fitted my winter wheels with hub rings. Those got stuck to hub ,but i used screwdriver to gently release them.

As for plastic version. I have had those also.Those got stuck same way as aluminum, but when trying to release them the plastic started to crack and was harder to take of.

I think aluminum is better.
