I found another post that explained how to correctly reset the FTM warning on a 2006 E90. I was successful in clearing my warning. I think that my initial problem was that one of my tires was 2psi lower than the other three; still over 35psi. seems quite sensitive if you ask me.

This procedure that is not discussed in the Owners Manual! Shame on BMW.
