I live in Alberta, Canada so im not in a "state"
this is the law that they charge me with
http://www.transportation.alberta.ca/596.htm

section 50 but the definition of driving lights defined by the crown aka the goverment is a headlamp and tail lamp and the definition of a headlamp does not include daytime running lights

http://www.bclaws.ca/EPLibraries/bcl...eside/26_58_01
is crown definitions shown here is daytime running lamp and headlamp definitions both dont not conflict with motor vehicle act regulations
infact the daytime running lamp is

"daytime running lamp" means a lamp used to improve the visibility of a vehicle when the vehicle is viewed from the front in daylight

witch blue lights increase tremendously i rest my case :P
