Right, despite not wanting to spend money on winter wheels, I feel I'm going to have to... just dont fancy 255s on 19s in ice n snow.

Do I go for 17s i.e. cheaper inc. tyres or 18s?

The thought of smaller 17s with a train like appearance makes me shudder. If anyone can recommend a good 17" wheel with good offsets. ET 34 on an 8" rim is going to very narrow looking at the back IMO, but I think 17s make more sense TBH.

Spotted these 17s

But then I like these 18s

To be honest I don't want to go higher than 400 for wheels.

I may just continue to trudge through Ebay on a daily basis and try and get a set of older OEMS... that could take me to June though . Problem with Ebay is that a lot are cash on collection, which is ok if you have the time or live close by.

Opinions and thoughts are all welcome...
Gone but not forgotten... Audi A3 Blk Ed / Vauxhall Monaro VXR / Nissan 350Z / Honda Civic Type-R / Fiat Punto Sporting / Ford Fiesta ... I loved them all
