Do I go for 17s i.e. cheaper inc. tyres or 18s?
The thought of smaller 17s with a train like appearance makes me shudder. If anyone can recommend a good 17" wheel with good offsets. ET 34 on an 8" rim is going to very narrow looking at the back IMO, but I think 17s make more sense TBH.
Spotted these 17s
But then I like these 18s
To be honest I don't want to go higher than £400 for wheels.
I may just continue to trudge through Ebay on a daily basis and try and get a set of older OEMS... that could take me to June though
. Problem with Ebay is that a lot are cash on collection, which is ok if you have the time or live close by.
Opinions and thoughts are all welcome...
I've bought a set of 18" Riva DTMs for winter & they look very good for the money & the finish is excellent. Like you, I was undecided on 17" or 18" but they could be on the car for the best part of half a year, so I wanted something that looked OK. I don't see the point in saving £100 & hating the look of my car for months, every time I see it with horrible wheels!!
