Hi - OEM is original equipment or stock parts. A square set means they are not staggered or different width rims. These wheels are from a 3-series M3 vehicle. The M3 front rims are 8.5" wide and the rears are 9.0" (I believe). The 9" rims would not fit within my wheel wells without rolling the fenders so I purchased 4 8.5" wide rims or 4 fronts. Great looking wheels! My wife has a Mercedes-Benz E350 4Matic, which requires a square setup since it is all wheel drive. Her wheels are 8.5 inch all around and she has 245/40/ on 18-inch rims. I have seen a lot of forum members using 245/40 all around with no issues in the front, where you could still turn the steering wheel from lock to lock without rubbing against the liner/inner well.
