Not sure if I may have the beginnings of judder issues. I've got an E90 320d (manufactured August 2011) that has done just over 10k miles, and I certainly notice judder every morning as I pull out of my driveway. It's not so noticeable after that, although I do also find that it's very difficult to get a smooth gear change in 2nd, 3rd, and to some extent 4th - the clutch seems to part engage and then slip a bit before fully engaging (don't know if this is a symptom of the CDV?).
It's liveable at the moment, but whenever I drive my wife's E87 123d I realise how poor the clutch is in the E90 as the 123d is a joy - lighter clutch, no judder, and super smooth changes in any gear. Given they're basically the same engine and similar drivetrain, is it worth taking my E90 into the dealer or are they likely to say there's no issue at the moment?
