has to be a SUV? How about a 4-door hot hatch such as:
Focus ST
VW GTI
VW Golf R?

on the SUV front, my wife has an '07 RDX. Firm ride, nice pickup, nice interior, split rear seats fold pretty nice. I don't mind driving it
