Caranddriver were always optimistic about their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times but this has got to be the most ridiculous estimate ever. I didn't know that reducing 700-926 pounds of a 5800+ pounds car would make it so fast.
.....And check out the 11.9 1/4 mile estimate
Here's a link to what I read.
VEHICLE TYPE: front-engine, 4-wheel-drive, 5-passenger, 5-door wagon

ENGINE TYPE: DOHC 32-valve 5.0-liter V-8, 375 hp, 375 lb-ft; supercharged and intercooled DOHC 32-valve 5.0-liter V-8, 510 hp, 461 lb-ft
TRANSMISSION: 8-speed automatic with manual shifting mode
Wheelbase: 115.0 in
Length: 196.8 in
Width: 78.1 in Height: 72.2 in
Curb weight (C/D est): 5000–5250 lb

Zero to 60 mph: 4.4–5.8 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 11.9–15.9 sec
Top speed: 130–140 mph

T(he engine, after all, is shared with Jaguar). We estimate that 60 mph will arrive in 4.4 seconds, nearly a second faster than before, and overtaking distances are radically compressed. Yet it also claims an mpg gain of 9 percent.
Offtopic, I use to hate how the Range Rover use to look but now, I have changed my mind.
