Just put the pipe on the RB turbo and you will notice where the spacer should be put in order to be able to tighten the pipe correctly on the turbo...
Like this, I get what you are saying now, there are 2 spacers (1 for bolt stud & 1 for the line)....the upper line is made to seat into the stock turbo ( longer) so when you put the lines in on the RB flat flange there is a gap because it can not sink in.
