Might just Normal...you push the button and it doesn't kick over instantly doesn't always mean theres a problem.
I have all fresh fuel pumps, coils, plugs, injectors. My car sometimes kicks instantly. Other times 1-3 seconds. In my experience I would say 3 seconds is the Max though and it kicks over on the 3rd second.
Anything more then that I would be concerned.
What kind of fuel are you running? 93?
