I stopped fighting it. I've always been an early bird, but when I started having problems sleeping, I'd be laying there trying to sleep at 2am. Now, I just get up and work on the computer, watch TV, then usually I'll get tired again around 4am and get another couple hours of sleep.
Also, benedryl (diphenhydramine) which is also in tylenol PM WORKS! It'll help you sleep for at least 4 hours, no addictive properties, no side effects.
I take it every night (Benedryl, Tylenol is bad for your liver to take all the time) because i have tinitus (ringing of the ears) and have trouble getting to sleep.
