Dexter did the same thing in another season when he was always driving a Ford Escape. When he he was running off the road and flipping around the Escape was now a Kia Sportage. The Kia was also in the junk yard afterwards.
I guess they don't think anybody will ever notice the switch in cars, it's annoying though.
