Anyway, my point is it seems irrationally dumb to fire a nondescript and generally much more serious icon anytime ANYTHING is astray, including when the car is simply low on gas. Which is guaranteed to happen twice or ten times per month.
As I tend to re-fuel well before hitting reserve, I generally see the icon more often for the dreaded "Low Washer Fluid" warning which happens at least twice a year.
