Not sure this will help but I had the same problem. I brought it to dealer 3 times and they changed bulbs, checked for corrosion and ensured wiring was in tact. All three times it failed within minutes of getting my car back. They finally agreed to replace entire tail light unit and it worked
Hmmm...interesting. I've bought new bulbs, assuming that the current bulbs died out, but that didn't work. I've also tried swapping out my right taillight bulbs to my left taillight, but still nothing happened. I'm purchase the taillight bulb holder today, hopefully that will work..
