Sheild in RCA

I am making some shielded RCA cable to run from MS-8 to amps (fully active setup) but where do you connect shield cable to? Just leave it disconnected? What is the best practice?

All the shield to TV connection cable and combox av cable are tied togather and goes to combox and cic in the back, must be getting grounded over there. Is there something similar I can do?
