I put too much confidence in my wintracs this year, with 4 inches of fresh snow, hill hadn't been tackled by a single car yet.

Forgetting one important aspect of hill driving in the snow, momentum. Got half way up, going far too slowly, lost momentum and traction. Thought, there is no way i'm getting out of this. Started to slowly slide back so released the brake a tiny bit to get the wheels turning properly until the tyre picked up enough snow to start regaining traction again and gently eased it back down the hill.

Went and found a smaller hill to test with
