who cares how they work!...it looks bad ass lol. on my previous car with a bbk(8/6 pot ksport) i ran one size larger master cylinder to compensate for the larger/volume/surface area/piston. I didnt even break them in properly, they worked flawlessly without any noise.
Pedal modulation was great..basically i got more braking output with less pedal input/effort. Far with your noise try brushing up some anti seize on the pad/gliding surface where it rides on the caliper, this works every time for me.
