If you are going to keep the car at least a year or two more than install coilovers. I've been very happy over the last four years (25,000 miles) with my KW-V1s...never required adjustments or alignments, and I've hit plenty of potholes here in Philly. Also invest in lightweight wheels and tires...that'll make the car quicker and stop better, as well as corner better...much less unsprung weight. And use non run flat summer super sport tires - not the all-season runflat crap. All in all, I've eliminated about 10 lbs per corner using Apex wheels and Michelin PSS tires.
