Look into your local JCs and see if they have automotive repair courses, and if they offer body and paint classes. If they do, why not have your car get worked on, but tell them to not paint it, just prep it. Then get it painted by a professional shop.

When my Mom's Jetta got a good sized door ding, she went that route. It was free of charge, and the students actually did a terrific job, since they were being graded as a project. The car was then painted by a local shop, and it came out perfect. Of course, her car is black, so matching and blending is relatively easy.
