SERVICE ENGINE SOON light

Sorry in advance for the rookie Cobb questions.....

Just got an aftermarket battery installed in my 2007 335i after getting advice from the forums here.

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...___#fragment-2

All seems fine, but the tech must have touched something as my cluster fuse was blown post-battery install and had to be replaced. And now my 'SERVICE ENGINE SOON' light is on.

1. Any insight/advice on how a new aftermarket battery (or blown fuse) would cause this?

2. Can I use my Cobb AP to check to see what code is causing the light to be on?

3. And can I clear it with my Cobb?

4. Finally, should I 'register' the battery with the car? I heard advice both yea and nay....
