Not at all. Do you need a copy of the notice from BMW? I posted it as a .pdf somewhere around here. Let me know. I can't even tell you how whacky the e-dipstick is behaving now. I keep track of it. It goes over 3K before it drops a 1/4 quart, then drops a 1/4 about every 1,300 mile there after until it goes +1qt. I top it off with 1 fresh quart and then it drops 1/4 quart in 1,000 miles.
