I assume that if these are unscrewed, the center of the caliper should fall back exposing the pads in a two piece design. Has anyone tried unscrewing these instead of removing the caliper bolts and taking off the entire assembly?
Haven't done that, but taking the entire caliper off in the rear is pretty easy since it's smaller and there's more room to work with. The fronts are a pain in the butt though.
