I just picked up a White E90 2 weeks ago and I love the car. I was having trouble with 1st gear and driving off. It kept popping out of 1st gear 2/10 times which was killing me. I thought it was me not knowing how to shift correctly coming from a Si and the difference in engagement points. But I did lots of research on this mod and I just took mine out last night. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! It took me just a little under an hour with the DIY posted here on this forum. I am now smoothly pulling out of 1st at every light and stop sign. Hasnt popped out no matter how hard I try to replicate what was happening to me the past two weeks. Any way, do this if you havant. Great, cheap mod that works! Thank you forum!
