OK, guys.. two things continue to bedevil me:
1. How can I get smoother downshifts? Yes, I'm replacing the CDV soon, but it can't just be the CDV.
2. I'm still slow off the line. Tried what you guys recommended. The car seems to jerk if I depress the clutch with the throttle still on. What do you do to get a decent takeoff? Keep in mind, I'm not talking about a drag race, I'm talking about not driving like a grandma at a stoplight. There are literally grandmas in the next lane who beat me off the line.
