What I have in mind is to disassemble my damaged axles and use the stub or cv joint or whatever it's called like you guys said and have it bolted to the hub to hold the bearing in place while not having an axle there and on the differential side I have different sized cap plugs I could use to cap it.
Hopefully these axles come apart easily, the videos make it look not hard to do but we all know how youtube repairs differ from reality.
