My point and shoot is competent enough, but it won't do that.
The focusing is a lot easier to adjust with the DSLR, than with a point-&-shoot.
I'm thinking about getting a 50mm prime (fixed focus) lens.

I think the 'bokeh' (background blurring effect) produced with that lens is fantastic.
