I have CIC-MID (CIC Business) on my 2011 E90. I updated the maps and the combox firmware, so bluetooth music streaming with titles works great. Are there any other smart or app capabilities with the CIC-MID? Can I code in something cool multimedia-related? Connected drive is not enabled in the menu right now and BMW Online fails to connect likely due to the 3G sunset. Would BMW honour a 4G retrofit?
I tried the My BWM app with both Android and iOS phones connected by USB, but the car wasn't detected. The old BMW Connected app on Android just says "Something went wrong. Retry".
Ideally, I would like to be able to:
- show covers with music playback
- send navigation destination from my phone to the car
- Connected Drive features
So any advice or any other smart features would also be nice.
