Like you i could not find a method that would reset the FTM flat tyre monitor warning symbol in the instrument cluster. (Note: this is not the TPMS system that has a sensor inside every tyre that communicated by wireless to a module)
Searched Google and YouTube but nothing worked.
The car's CCC (Note: not the later CiC or even later iDrive) is not working, constantly rebooting, so I could not use it.
The indicator stalk has separate Check and BC (BC = onboard computer) buttons but nothing else. (Note: no rotary toggle switch)
As with google and youtube advice i tried the ignition switch in position 1 or 2 or engine started but it made no difference, nothing worked and the red flat tyre warning symbol remained.
You're idea worked with a few different choices in the inpa software perhaps because the car is a e60 model, early year model or different version of inpa.
Just registered to say a big, super really big thank you.
