well, no one is claiming this is the 'FIRST IN THE AUTOMOTIVE WORLD", but I sure believe this is the first on E90's taillights, prove me wrong otherwise.

(Which makes removing the amber reflector impossible) If you bake the taillights in an oven, at about 190 for 10-15 minutes (make sure they dont hit the heating element!) they will also come apart pretty easy. If you do this, you can simply stick them back together, reheat, force the seal a little, reheat, push them together some more, and the bond will be as good as when you started.

Ive done this on MANY headlamps in japanese cars, works every time.
