Nikki, it's actually beneficial to sprint in between your walks because it elevates your heart rate. So you're doing OK.
I wish more people would get out and exercise, especially kids because some of them spend too much time indoors playing video games, watching tv, online, etc.
And IMO, being physically active makes kids smarter and more confident.
