When I push "on" the remote engine light flashes 2x, and when I push "off" it flashes 1x. Does that mean i don't have valet mode?

If it does not flash at all, then it's map 0. If it flashes once, its map 1. If it flashes twice, its map 2. So it seems like you have map 1 and map 2 on your V3.
