It would probably fit but each 3 series seems to have its own slightly different bends to the shifter pole. I think the BMW SSK that I tried out on my car before switching to the UUC EVO was actually from a 328xi. The net effect was it worked but was tilted very slightly towards the passenger seat rather than sitting straight up. Not bad but you could tell it wasn't perfect.
So you'd probably wind up with the shifter canted slightly towards the driver if my guess is correct. If you got both shifters and gave UUC exact measurements, they might even cut one for you. Call them. They're pretty cool guys.
