My point was that a very small amount of material can produce a "big boom", thus to assume that a large amount of "red matter" would be required is faulty reasoning. Yes, but using E=MC2, to produce enough E to implode the planet would require M to be HEEEEE-UGGGGEEEEE, so you wouldn't be walking around with it in your hands, you'd never be able to carry it. Carrying it in a syringe was the point of my post.
