Are you 100% sure?
IF that is the case then
potentially I would have major concerns over the longevity of the bearings, given the state of my own turbos. The water cooling system helps to keep the bearing temperatures down - without the water I can't see how the ASR turbos would survive long durations of full boost. Again, that's assuming you're correct and the ASR turbos are only oil cooled.
