Does anyone have a better deal?
I'm pretty sure it is the same alarm system. The quote price is too high IMHO. Pacific has the hardware on sale ($234 + S/H/CA Tax). http://www.pacificbmw.com/new/parts/...69&modelid=535

The DIY install is a breeze - dealer CODING should be free or just a minimal charge (mine was $80).

You could probably be done around $400 if you DIY - so you have to decide if the $175 is worth it to you....I'd show them the Pacific price and offer them ~ $400-450 installed and see what they say.
