just took the plunge and ordered a 335d today. (delivery date 27/07/2007 )
Quote I got couple of months back had the 226-Sports suspension settings as standard,
and my purchase agreement today has 704-M Sports suspension instead.
Dealer is clueless, he didnt even know if the 335i demo car they had was with 226 or 704. Anyway, I went ahead and test drove the 335i they had (it probably has 226 since its pre-march), although the car was fitted with 230 alloys (19 inchers) it felt stiff but not crashy. My 335d will come with the 17 inch 188.
I m kinda freaked out, dealer says he can delete 704 but I m not sure if thats a good idea with a car that has 580Nm and 286hp, I may actually need it.
So, if any of you guys really know the differences between sports and M-sports, I would appreciate your comments. I dont want a car thats uber-stiff or crashy, and wanna make it down my steep driveway without scratching.
