Also, make sure that later addition of aftermarket downpipe won't create any unpleasant surprises in the exhaust tonality. If possible give a choice of double or quad exhaust tips.

I've got to bring up my Brabus
exhaust I had on my CL 500...it was just as the poster above described...quiet...until the pedal was mashed and then everybody around knew I was on it.
