Wow. I need to find this one safety bulletin that was put out with regard to airing up aircraft tires. Some idiot bypassed the pressure regulator (being lazy because with the regulator it can take more than 15 mins to fill up a tire) that bleeds off excess pressure above 400psi; long story short, he connected the charged hose of 3000 psi to the tire which should not be filled to more than 450psi max...tire and wheel blew up and he was turned into a puddle of human remains.

Safety messages in the military are put out because someone has been seriously injured or killed doing whatever it is the message tells you not to do....
