To correct your information they will be able to support 100 million connection by the end of the year, I am not sure what they mean by connections and I do not believe that translates into 100M customers, since at any one time the phone could be connected to 2 or 3 towers and each is consider a connection until a hand off is made. It is called over provisioning and it required so you can move form one location to another.

Also they said they it will be only in 30 cities by the end of 2010, so the question is with a 4g phone work in a 3g network, may be or maybe not, since LTE is completely different then CDMA that means the phone would have to have two radios to be able to roam outside a 4g zone, kind of sounds like a power hog to me.
A 4g phone will be built with 3g backwards compatibility so yes it will work in a 3g coverage are but only at 3g speeds (obviously). What makes you think I work there? I knew what LTE is before you did a research and started posting like you know things. From what Im told Vz has over 91 million customers so the info you researched on is incorrect and not up to date. And who cares if I said 100M or 200M, just saying Vz is the sh** and they are/will lead the communications industry.
